Introduction:

I have a passion for music and teaching and love to see my students grow in their love for music and excel in their musical abilities. I strive for excellence with my students, and believe that the more you put into lessons the more you will grow and benefit from them.

Credentials:

  • Bachelors Degree in Music from Northwestern University of St Paul
  • Teaching for 10 years. Member of MMTA
  • Started and directed a home school orchestra and have directed various music ensembles
  • Performed professionally in the area in operas, musicals, and jazz concerts.

Lessons:

  • Individual lessons are given in half hour increments on a weekly basis for piano, voice and violin and the tuition fee is $100 per month.
  • Lessons will be held at the same time and day each week. Months with major holidays may only have three lessons and months with five weeks will have five lessons.
  • Tuition must be paid in advance for the entire month. Payment is due on or before the first lesson of the month. No refunds will be given for missed lessons unless cancelled by the teacher.
  • A $25.00 late fee will be charged if tuition has not been payed after the first week.
  • Teacher reserves the right to refuse lesson for non-payment at in which case the student will be sent home.

Cancellations/Missed Lessons:

  • If a student has to miss a lesson for any reason there will be no rescheduling, no makeup lessons and no refunds will be given.
  • Thirty day notice is required for termination of lessons. No refunds will be given.

Payment Terms

  • An invoice will be emailed on the first day of the month.
  • The total balance due on or before the first lesson of the month.
  • The invoice may be paid online via credit card or bank transfer using the link provided in the invoice.
  • Cash or check may be hand delivered on or before the first lesson of the month.
  • Do not mail checks..

Conduct at the Studio

  • A waiting area is available for parents and family members during student’s lesson.
  • Siblings and friends of students must be accompanied by an adult in the waiting area.
  • Anyone in the waiting area is asked to conduct themselves in a quiet and respectful manner to avoid disrupting other lessons in progress.
